The Four Sixes

What you get

On raceday

The operator has not stated how badges are allocated when more members apply than there are badges. They describe the entitlement, and what happens if you miss out, but not the mechanism.

At the yard

Stable visits come as standard

“Syndicates are generally made up of between 10 – 20 members.”From Crest Racing's website, read 16 October 2026

Hospitality

Social events including an annual owners' day, and lunch or dinner together on the most important race days

Keeping in touch

Updates are promised; no frequency is stated.

Prize money

Members receive their share of prize money and of any sale proceeds, apart from the usual deductions to trainer and jockey; any other deduction is set out in the contract

What it costs

Year one, per share

£3,050£1,250 upfront plus twelve monthly payments. The upfront included fees up to 1 September 2026, which has passed, so monthly fees start straight away.

A year, per share

£2,217For comparison. The upfront buys a share that lasts beyond year one, so it is spread over an assumed three-year racing life.

Per 1% of the horse

£443The figure that makes offers comparable. A £54 share and a £5,000 share are not alike until you divide by how much of the horse each one buys.

Share size

5% each, 1 of 20 shares

Term ends

31 May 2028

At the end

You own a share of the horse and a share of anything it is sold for. What that will be worth is unknown.
